Nomination Papers: Procedure1.
Nomination
papers shall be available to candidates during the 40 days prior to the
filing deadline.
The filing deadline is the close of business on the 45th
day before the election (85 day total). 2.
In
towns with a population over 500 the following applies:
Nomination papers require not less than 25 nor more than 100
signatures of registered voters. 3.
The voters shall both sign and print their names and place their
address on the nomination papers. 4. The candidate’s consent must accompany the return of the nomination papers.
